we simply aren't good enough, thats all there is too it. we don't have strength in depth, we don't have real creative quality or attacking flair, our defence is weaker than it has been since Rafa arrived (Skyrtel is average, Hyppia is too old). We are fundamentally a 2 man team (we need to be a 4 or 5 man team to win the title, as in 5 world class players in the starting line up), rafa IS too defensive for the premiership playing the most unprolific striker in the premiership upfront on his own.

Too many poor players who are just not good enough.
Nothing personal against the likes of El Zhar and Ngog - but they are not adequate replacements for Torres. Babel is a major disappointment.
Without Torres, we have nothing upfront.
