Why is it that when we draw at home we're **** but when we beat someone at home who we are exoected to beat it's because they are rubbish???
    1. 1st half was usual slow tempo, average if I'm being generous.
    2. N'Gog was offering nothing until he scored, then he was a completely different player. Note to all of those ****s who boo and abuse our players that also come on here - confidence is the single biggest factor in a footballer, booing Lucas, booing the team will not help at all, Lucas and N'Gog (to name two) are young lads who we as fans could either ruin by constant moans of disapproval or help them develop into excellent players for us by giving them confidence when they play.
    3. Insua looked good again, time to cash in on Dossena.
    4. Skrtel was fine, any chance of Agger being fit long enough to get a recall though??
    5. Alonso - average, needs to find his early season form.

The rest were all ok, Benny plyed very well again, we did what we had to do and haven't done enough of this season which is put teams away.
Rafa played 4-4-2 and played N'Gog from the start up top with Kuyt, maybe he is beginning to understand 4-2-3-1 against the bottom 6-8 teams doesn't give us the best chance.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

harsh - takes a really special player to play well after being taken off

Agree with all of that. Dossena will be sold in the summer I would think, while his stock is reasonably high.

I remember myself defending him in the past.
However I think a lot of the stick is also directed in the sense of why did Rafa buy him when we had Nemeth?
But plenty have claimed he is ****.
I'm with you though, I think he has the attributes to be a good player. Whether that means a top Premier League player only (game) time will tell.
I'd not seen that kind of criticism Reggie, if people have already dismissed him, it's a bit silly.

Personally, i think he offers enough to be a worthwhile and potentially useful option.

I think the main question was why he was bought and put in the 1st team when he is so young and inexperienced. Still a valid question imo.

I haven't seen much to be excited about tbh. His touch is very hit and miss, in front of goal he's quite poor (think he shinned it last night for the goal and scuffed/sliced two shots early on when in the box).

On the other hand he had a couple of nice touches and ran at pace.

Early days yet though, I'd give 5/10 for last night.

Harsh that, he was directly involved in both goals.

Harsh in what way? His touch is hit and miss, he did scuff 3 shots in the box, luckily the one went in. He lost possession few times.

Besides that he had some nice touches and showed his pace. Made a couple of nice runs.

There's nothing harsh about it, its what happened IMO. It was an ok performance nothing more. I certainly wouldn't give anything more than 5/10 for a someone playing for LFC against a struggling Sunderland.

BTW MOM Benny I would give 7/10 for.

He started slow but got better, grew in confidence and was a persistent threat, culminating in scoring one and making another.

The opposition is irrelevant, he played pretty well, better than a 5/10 certainly.

He was good, not amazing but good and he was in a goal scorers position to get his goal, something we're not very good at without Torres. I have no idea how you've come to the conclusion he was 5/10 mate.

Yep. For me, 5/10 is someone who was ineffective in the game. He wasnt that.

A 6 for his all round play might be fair I suppose but I'd give him a 7 because he was involved in both goals and led the line quite well.

I think this is then indicative of why we are currently sitting where we are....

That was an ok performance against a struggling side. There was no period where Ngog was consistently putting them under pressure.

He did better than I expected, he did get better as the game progressed, but it really was nothing worthy of anything better than ok for player at LFC.

I don't want this to start me being an Ngog basher, because I thought he did ok. Just that I did not see the level of performance that some of you guys seem to have seen.

It looked like he connected with the ball cleanly enough from where I was stood. N'gog wasn't perfect, but he worked hard and he does have ability, if Babel would make a similar effort we wouldn't be too concerned about our lack of options up front.
