Rafa played Mascherano at R.B. today. Was this out of necessity or is he experimenting with different pllaying options for Mascherano?

It's a shame he didn't give Darby I chance (assuming he's fit). Maybe he didn't want to risk the inexperience of both Darby and Insua at full back though.Comment

The amount of times Sunderland could have been in on our right? About 4/5 with the right pass. I think Mascherano is a tremendous midfielder but I saw nothing to suggest he could cope in that position against United and Real.
