I do not have the privilege to go see my beloved Liverpool FC play week in week out and I was wondering to the fans who do, who are these people and are any of them on these boards.

I have to say it annoys me no end the ammount of personal abuse chucked at players and I feel perhaps this latest development is probably and spill over from internet forums such as these. As much as I love this distfunctional place ........

Actually have to run .. will finish this later in meantime opinions welcome

I thought it was an excellent article.

Ultimately, everyone at the ground surely wants us to do well. Even if a player comes on who isn't rated by most fans, and hasn't been playing well most of the season, booing them cannot have a positive effect in any way shape or form, and is if anything, likely to hurt their performance and therefore the team. That's not what "supporters" should ever be doing.

For example at the game a couple of months ago hearing a fella behind me booing Babel, proclaiming to his mate next to him 'he's **** that Marcus Babel'
        lol, what a prat
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

Booing is the lowest form of criticism for anyone, regardless of whether their a **** player or not. At the end of the day there's no need for it.
