This is why i have been saying all week that i want United in the Champions League. Because its up to us to stop them and we can. Especially over 2 legs, they will be no match for us, today proved an awful lot. We went to Old Trafford missing 3 key players and we humiliated them. I love it

United may still win the Premiership but this result will take the shine of things and could haunt them for season’s to come. They’ll now live in real fear of meeting Liverpool in the Champions League. Best for them to get out early while they can.

The voodoo’s broken and this result puts paid to all that tedious crap about Rafa loosing the plot and cracking under the pressure. The all conquering, unbeatable, quintuple winning Manchester United now look about as rock solid as one of Bernie Madoff’s investment schemes. Come on Fulham.

I am so very bloody depressed and feel so angry at myself. I had the option of watching this game at a local(ish) with 1 or 2 scum-supporting work-friends but, convinced it would be a boring, guarded, cancelling-each-other-out game and/or we would lose (I was 100% convinced we would, though never let my scum friends knew this), decided to do something else that took me well away from the radio and TV. I turned my mobile back on around 2.30 to see both had sent me smarmy texts (obviously just after their first goal, then received a new text from one saying he hated me but they'd still win the league anyway. This cheered me up but I still didn't know the actual score until half an hour ago. Burst out laughing, chuffed to bits, but feel a total little-faith dumb-ass for missing out on a great experience.

Rafa really is building something special here and even though he drives me crazy and i have asked for him to be sacked in the past this result and the one on tuesday has proved to me that we have the right man in charge!

I have never seen us beat the mancs like that never mind in their own back yard! We were fantastic in every position. We really Showed today what the mancs are all about in being overrated. I said the other day if they come up against a team with a good strike force they will be stuffed which was the case today. Everyone earned their wages today!

No need for the snidy "'fans'" dig - rightly or wrongly, sometimes you can't just can't face the stress of some games and if you've a pleasant alternative lined up (as I did) then you go for that and curse yourself later.
