Sorry mate, I guess I used a bit of assumed logic when I said 4 points. If we win tomorrow we will have dropped 4 more points than the mancs bc they will still have their game in hand. So 1 point on the table but effectively 4 points.Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostYour wrong there.
We are currently 4 points behind with equal games played. IF we beat Villa tommorow, we will be 1 point behind with 1 extra game played.Custard's OK

Just done the BBC predictor
Liverpool 84pts
United 83pts
Chelsea 80pts
Arsenal 73pts
Villa 72pts
That's with us winning 7 and drawing 2 of our remaining games. Utd winning 5 drawing 3 and losing 1 of their last nine. Perfectly feasible you'd think.
They're still clear favourites but a win tomorrow and the pressure's cranked up BIG time.'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

if we win tomorrow, the heat will really be cranked up.....today was a aperfect opportunity for them to hit back in style and all the pundits and some on here said they would walk it, they didnt they bottled it.....make no mistake we have them rattled and teams have seen they dont like it up them.Originally posted by -V- View PostIf we win tomorrow then the race is Def on. Not over till its over. People said after we thrashed them that they wouldnt lose another 2/3 games and yet they have already gone and lost another. A result nobody expected.
We CAN do it
Write united of at your peril.....but i am daring to believe_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

I'm not sure the notion of United failing to win 4 out of their remaining 9 games (especially as they've just lost two in a row) is particularly feasible.Originally posted by Ben_Itez View PostJust done the BBC predictor

I think they'll win 6 or 7 out of their remaining 9, at the very least.

I've always been convinced that they WILL drop the points - the question has always been whether we can win all our games and that's still the stumbling block, for me.Originally posted by -V- View PostIf we win tomorrow then the race is Def on. Obviously i was wearing my red tinted spectacles but i had them dropping points to City, Villa, Tottenham and losing to Arsenal at home. I had them winning all their away games.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI'm not sure the notion of United failing to win 4 out of their remaining 9 games (especially as they've just lost two in a row) is particularly feasible.

No-one expected them to lose to Fulham so hopefully the other teams will take confidence from the scums last two defeats.
I agree that if we won all our matches we'd win it but i just cant see it....we'll draw a couple at least. With Champions league and FA cup distractions and a manager who's cracking up who knows?!!?'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

A dictionary definition of 'irony'
The key to Liverpool winning the league this year is the person who professes a lifelong hatred of the club.
Yes indeed, the one and only Wayne Rooney will be the person on whom the championship rests. But instead of being the inspiration behind the other club lifting the league trophy in May, he could very well be the catalyst for their own self destruction.
Today saw him lose all control and with a tiring team behind him, he should be the impetus for them holding on. When he was brought on a the start of the second half he was the one most likely to make a difference but when Tevez was brought on and he was moved out to the wing, united lost all control and then suffered the indignity of a second conceded goal at Craven Cottage.
The manchild then took it as a personal slight and managed to get himself sent off. Can any of us imaging Stevie Gerrard being so selfish and undisciplined as this. No? No!
The truth of the matter is that the red side of Manchester are pinning their hopes of a 'quadruple' on a Portuguese primadonna with one eye on a permanent Spanish holiday, a Bulgarian narcissist with one eye in the mirror and an out of control Evertonian with a penchant for implosion facing his biggest nightmare - an LFC title challenge.
