Its a real long shot now as games are running out, but if we can manage to take it to the last game of the season anything can happen.

Never going to happen, but my perfect scenario (which would have me pointing and laughing at United forever) would be:
1. we win our remaining games (obviously) and bank up the goal difference
2. United win against Citeh & Wigan and think it's all over
3. United & Arsenal perform an exact replay of their 1990 match (including the aftermath)
4. United concede a last gasp equaliser in a final day draw with Hull.
5. United lose out on goal difference after a 1 point deductionRemember, we're only adding to the nonsense.
Walking a lonely road one night, Nasruddin saw riders approaching. His imagination ran riot: he saw himself robbed or killed, so he climbed a wall into a graveyard and hid. Puzzled at his behaviour, the riders, who were followers of the Mullah, followed. Finding him cowering behind a grave, they asked "Great Sage, why are you hiding here?". "It's more complicated than you think" he replied, "I'm here because of you - and you're here because of me"

They are on a roll but how many teams have bent over for them? First Villa, then Spurs & now Arsenal.Originally posted by fredo View PostUnited are on a roll now.
Anyway im looking at the glass half full. ManU hammering Arsenal last night may actually be the better result for us on three accounts:
1) They will have more of a fixture congestion
2) Arsenal will be up for their League match, and want to regain some pride
3) Man City will be sick of all the plaudits ManU will be getting in the local papers this week, so will hopefully really be up for their weekend match.
I know its a real long shot, but heres hoping.

City have to beat them - if they dont, the race is done and dusted.

Having to rely on Man City winning away is a fairly grim prospect. Ah well, you never know. Worse City sides have beaten better United ones in recent years......Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

My only hope is based on City's recent upturn in form, and the fact that they do actually have the necessary tools to get a result.
With the likes of Richards and Dunne at the back, they're capable of being tight. Given's a top keeper too. And going forward, there's enough firepower, if they perform, to do something.

well we have taken a giant leap forward this year in actually being the main challenger, hopefully it will give us the required momentum for next year to finally bring back the title.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostThe worst thing is, even a draw wouldnt be enough for us.
