we need city to get something!!!! a draw would do - we then need arsenal to man the **** up and get some revenge for europe and beat them - then hopefully going into the last day we still have a chance - i'd be happy if going into the very last game we could still win it - who knows, hopefully hull need a win to stay up and give us fighting chance.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Not just his quotes. And not just now either.Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostYour quotes are getting a bit boring now.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

A draw still leaves the mancs with margin for error in just 3 games left.
Cant see them failing to win 3 out of 4. It'll need to be 2 losses.
I really hope the Newcastle v Boro game isnt a draw - we need one of them to win and really put pressure on Hull. If Hull go into the last game safe, we're ****ed.

I kinda agree but i am clinging onto hope at the moment - i can't see city beating united at old trafford - maybe, if arsenal had gave them a tougher game in europe i'd be thinking that the mancs may be a bit jaded, but i think they may be up for it - right now I'd take a city draw, and then just hope that a few reuslts go our way so that going into the last game of the season, we still have a chance of winning - As it stands right now, I would take the following scenarioOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostThink City will have to win.

Last day of season
We have to beat spurs, United have to lose to Hull, and Hull need to win to stay up. If it happens we win
- it's clinging on too hope, but i really just hope it goes down to the last day and we still have a chance - i'd be gutted if they go and smash city, arse and wigan and finish it.

Utd may just relax ever so slightly now. In the CL final, league seems all but wrapped up. Do you bust a gut to play well and win a place in the final, but risk burning out? Do you relax slightly to save energy but risk not winning? No-one will want to get injured eitherOriginally posted by PTP View PostI kinda agree but i am clinging onto hope at the moment - i can't see city beating united at old trafford - maybe, if arsenal had gave them a tougher game in europe i'd be thinking that the mancs may be a bit jaded, but i think they may be up for it - right now I'd take a city draw, and then just hope that a few reuslts go our way so that going into the last game of the season, we still have a chance of winning - As it stands right now, I would take the following scenario

I can't see it now really.
Goal difference isn't actually an issue anymore, if we're going to be equal on points, realistically we're always going to beat them on GD unless they get a huge win in their game in hand.
This is because they have to either lose 2 games, so that's 4 more GD for us (as they will lose by at least one and we need to win by one). If you go the draws route then we'll get 3 more than them at least as they need to draw 3 games.
However, I just can't see them dropping enough points now, especially in the form they're in. A few weeks ago when they looked a little dodgy I really thought we would do it
