    Can we win the League?

Just wondering after our win against ManU, do you all think we are back in the race?

Personally I still think ManU will win it but we must give them a real fight. I couldn't bear it for them to have wrapped up the title in March.

I know its a old cliche but we have to take each match at a time and make sure we win. On paper we can win every remaining fixture with all four Chelsea & ManU games out of the way.

Credit to ManU they have been on a phenomenal run of 11 straight wins, however our result proves to the rest of the league that they arn't 'untouchable'. During their run half of the teams were beat before kick-off. I just hope other teams take real confidence from this and play with confidence.

I also hope they beat Everton in the FA Cup semi-final so that hopefully their fixture congestion works in our favour, not to mention the 3 match ban Vidic will now serve.

Its a long shot that they will throw it away from here, but here's hoping. YNWA.

I think we can but we need Villa and arsenal to beat the mancs!

I think they'll still win it, but we are still in with a chance. We need the likes of Man City and Middlesbrough to do us a favour. We've got a decent run-in, and if they slip up we're in the best position to capitalise. I haven't given up hope.

Unfortunately i think the loss to Middlesborough ended our title chances, but we have shown today that they can be beating, but you never know, lets see how their next game goes.

IF, and its a very big IF we win our 9 remaining fixtures i reckon we have every chance. We have a slightly easier run-in than them.

Gutted about that defeat! We just did not turn up and going by the last two game we should have spanked them and only be 1 point behind!

they need to lose 1 and draw 2 of last 9 and they would still probably beat us on goal difference......and thats if we won our last 9 games!!

them Going to fulham next week will tell us all we need to know

We need to get a run of games together and hope they slip up, then see where we are. Realistically we have win every game now, so it's still the scums to lose

Still think it's theirs. We won't get 9 wins from 9.

To early to judge, we have to see how they react! If they don't get all 3 points in their next game doubts may start to creep in, saying that we can't afford anymore stupid f**k ups!

Bein honest i dont think we should be considering this at the moment. Concentrate on the CL and just win each game in the league as it comes. We got over excited about winning the league in the first place.... lets not do it again.

They tend to react well to defeats lets hope they don't this time...

As is always the case in the title run in, we just need to keep winning our own games and see what happens. They've still got Arsenal and City to play and their other games seem tougher on paper than ours. We still need to win every game and hope they slip up though, which is a big ask, but all we can do is keep winning and applying the pressure.

We need to win every game. I think if they drop points in the next game then yes, it's back on. I'm getting the impression that they've already peaked, and we're the team that's building the head of steam at the right time.
