      **** off Keane.
      Simple really.
The bit from Sky saying he didn't start many games is complete bollocks.

Not interested, boring now, you had your chance to play for your 'dream' club and you blew it by adopting what appeared to be a big time attitude and also failing to control a football and missing open goals.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Well Rafa has a reputation of not being the best when coming to his man-management skills, especially from players that needs to be talked to.

With us and Valencia he has fallen out with a number of players because of this. I think it comes down to the certain personalities are not working well with Rafa's bit old fashioned man-management approach, and therefore does not settle amongst them Keane.

But the majority of players under Rafa have no problem with it so it is nothing I am to concerned about...

Rafa demands that people are mentally tough and willing to learn and adapt. If you can't fulfill those criteria better than say Ryan Babel then really you have no hope under him. I think that is fair enough.

            Strachan praise

Keane claims the best manager he has ever played under is Gordon Strachan, who signed him for Coventry in 1999.

Keane was still a teenager when he joined the Sky Blues and he believes Strachan helped him fulfil his potential.

"My time at Coventry was very important," Keane explained.

"I got to work with Gordon Strachan, the best manager I have ever played for.

"He is a fantastic man-manager who has always known how to get the best out of a player."
Wonder how Harry Redknapp feels about these comments?

Did anyone listen to the Guardian podcast this week? Apparently Sacchi was quoted in the Italian press talking about how the setup in England was more calm and allowed coaches more scope to innovate etc. whereas the pressures in Italy made players who wanted to win at any cost - even by cheating as each game was like a 'social war'. An Italian journalist apparently replied 'I suspect he has never met Harry Redknapp.'

I am not saying it is unfair, just stating that it seems to be the case with Rafa.

He is no doubt a great tactician and manager in general, but he will never win awards for his man-management, and some players seem not to like that style and fall out with him.

Other managers seem to very good at the man-handling/management part of the game and never really have fallouts with players.

Woulden't swap Rafa for them though!

I dont see how having a different manager sat on the bench would've made Keane not miss sitters.

Well they might not have sold him because of it.

Possibly not but in the midst of a football match, Keane's thoughts would've been focused on hitting the target - something which, had he done more often, might've saved his Liverpool career.

It could've been Rafa, Strachan, Redknapp or Bin Laden sat on that bench - either way, the fact is Keane missed countless sitters.

Only yourself to blame, Mr Keane.
