Plenty of people on various forums wanted us to sign Bent instead of Torres. Plenty. I remember a few of them too. I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone.

I hope not, i don't rate him. I think Crouch is better.

if I had to pick one of them to be in my team I'd pick Crouch over him everytime, and if we had jokes like Torres' in our team keeping Crouchie on the bench I wouldn't be that happy about it. I think we should buy a player who is proven and will be less risk.
