Thanjk you.

benitez arguement will still be if he hadnt played he wouldnt have picked up the calf injury though so dont think it really matters its not his hamstring.
rafa will not be happy
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
You just knew somethin like this was gonna happen just to prove Rafa right. Not good news at all, but if it meant that much to him there's nothin anyone could do about it. Hopefully it wont impact on us to much.
“…Slip like Freudian, your first and last step to playing yourself like accordion.”
And also it was his calf he damaged not his hamstring.
Two completely different injuries.
Its like saying if he went off with a broken cheekbone would people still be annoyed?
Sometimes though, when your not fully fit, it can have a detrimental effect on other parts of the body, not saying that's what happened here, but i'm sure our medical staff will investigate.
Just a shame he's probably now not available to us.

Rafa won't sell Benayoun, it's a pretty safe bet in my opinion.
And we've not heard Rafa concerning Benni's willingness to play for Israel at all. May also have been under Rafa's blessings, we don't know, as Rafa is normally very outspoken on the subject.

Even if Rafa raised his concerns and spoke with Benni about it. That doesnt come anywhere near to warrant getting rid of him. Particularly regarding the form he's in at the mo.

He wanted to leave in January, but we were chasing honourrs so he stayed. 100% he will leave in the summer, with Rafa and Yossi happy with that outcome.

I don't see how we can have any complaints about him being very committed to playing for Israel because it's not as if he's guaranteed to start every game for us. In fact he could have pulled out of the internationals and still been on our bench for the next 3 or 4 games so fair enough.
"My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.
He has impressed me this year but I think that he could be upgraded for a player who more consistently contributed against big teams and or was more able to prevent counter attacks down his wing. I was one of those who thought that he could be let go last summer but this season he has altered my opinion and I feel we would have to be careful who we replaced him with. His versatility is a real asset to the squad and shouldn't be undervalued.
I'm slightly miffed he decided to take risks when he was injured but I can see why he did and I won't hold it against him too much (which I hear he is very glad about).
