sure werent fulham in a relegation scrap and warnock's cabbage brain imploded cos rafa put out his daughters and missus and a couple of local toddlers? he blamed that on being relegated, rather than being an utter shower of useless fannies all season.

we should beat fulham away, they had their glamour scalp with united. Still, a much improved team under RH and not one to take lightly
LFC - the footballing Phoenix. Watch us rise.

Can't wait. Only injury problems are Benayoun and Hyypia, and hopefully we shouldn't need either. Bring it on, will be ace to see us top of the league again.

Can't see Mascherano playing, and on current form that's a big loss. I'm sure you'll be glad to see Lucas step up though.

Still can't believe that Argentina score BTW.

This will be a very tough game for us. We didn't manage to beat them at home, and none of Arse, Chelski and the scum have managed three points away to Fulham. I think they have won something like 9 of their home games so far. We need to be at our very best. Hopefully we will start our best eleven.

I agree this will be tough, Hodgson has them well organised and playing decent. But the plus is that our players seem to confident still, Riera and Alonso netting for Spain and Kuyt with three for Holland. That leaves a fresh Lucas to come in for Mascher and Gerrard in his good form, I am quietly optimistic about this one.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Its so important that Torres is fresh for this game, don't want him on the bench. Alonso is also important if Mascher is to be rested

Aye, likely to be a tough one for sure, confidence will be up for Fulham, but, maybe we can use that to our advantage.

I think it will be a big game for Lucas.

The important thing I feel is to push them back and not allow them to drop off and counter like they did against United. Zamora has to kit the target some time soon, lets hope it's not against us.

I would imagine Lucas has been at the training ground all week so Rafa should have him focused on this game

One important thing is that whilst Fulham rattled Man Utd and got in their faces, we're better at keeping the ball than United and we're more adept at taking the sting out of the opposition. Call it 'boring them into submission' if you like, but we can keep the ball and take the enthusiasm out of Fulham, Man Utd dont play the game in the same way.

As the Milan coach said, we dont let teams play. United do and often a piece of magic or a brilliant quick attack turns the game for them, whereas we control the games. We're also more solid defensively. United have had a brilliant defensive record, but it's mostly down to the fact that they attack so much, so their defence doesnt come under much pressure too often. But nullify their attack and press their defence - and you can rattle them. Our defence copes much better under pressure.

I think we'll beat Fulham and fairly comfortably too.

i think it would be misguided if anyone is saying that we will have an easy game. players have all been away with their countries and although there are no real injuries, there are always going to be problems. plus that fact that they beat the scum they will be flying high and their fans will be expecting them to do the same again. for all of these reasons i think we will be very limited and will probably only win 4-0 or 6-0.
                            in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again

Playing in high altitude thousands of miles away means Masch is out for the week. The good news is Tevez also played the whole game so that's the only recognised striker for Sunday f*cked too.

Hopefully Alonso, Kuyt and Riera will be raring to go and Torres has gotten over his coming-back-to-fitness invisible game. Gerrard played like he was already thinking about Fulham yesterday. These internationals might actually have finally helped Rafa.

My concerns are always at fullback. This is where we play great football or sh*t football. Arbeloa/Aurelio will make the difference if both play.
