    Young players who excite you.

We have some cracking players coming through and if i had it my way they would get more of a chance. Ok, this season we are challenging for the title so the youngsters might not get a chance at the end of the season like the previous years, but still would like to see them given a run out.

Young players who i think will make it into Liverpool:

Darby, Spearing, Insua all training with first team so they are exceptions.

Nemeth - might be training with the first team, but has yet to get a real chance - has something about him that makes him look a 'natural' goalscorer and is only a matter of time before he gets his chance, and he will be ready.

Tom Ince - Been watching him this year and there is a lot of hype surrounding him; i can see why. He is a great midfielder with bags of potential, and by god he can take a free kick.

Nathan Ecclestone - Has good ball control and is comfortable dribbling at defenders, if he continues developing he might benefit from the homegrown rule as well as Ince.

Dalle Valle seems to be playing well but not really seen him play too much.

Any players you think will make it?

I'm hopeful for Adam Pepper and Pacheco.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Im glad to see Pepper get where he is, he had some trouble with illness a few years ago, hopefully it never stopped his development too much.

I like David Amoo. Reminds me a bit of Babel but with the potential to be better.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

Pacheco filled me with hope at first but from what I can gather he hasn't pushed on quite as hoped..still hopeful though, he looks class

Agree with what you say about Nemeth as well Mike. That volley he scored for the Hungary U21s (was it?) was an absolute peach. He seems to have Fowler-esque balance that helps him put it exactly where he wants it and from all angles as well. His technique reminds me of him loads

I really like the look of Dalle Valle and Amoo.

Amoo has pace to burn and is very strong and direct.

Nemeth has no left foot - its only there for walking.

Dalle Valle will be the next great product off the academy line. I'd put my house on it (I don't own a house).

I'm pretty confident that only Insua will see any game time worth mentioning (a few minutes in the league cup doesn't count). There's too much at stake and too much pressure to risk youngsters/locals just for the sake of it.

Well insua has the best chance and is defo the most likey to carve out a career with us. There looks like there is a few good players in younger set up but i just don't see any coming through - hopefully i get proved wrong.

Shame nemeth has suffered with injuries as i was hoping this season he might have featured a bit,

Other than that, i have watched pepper once or twice and he looked good.

One youngster noone mentioned - i watched him for france under 21's against england the other night and he ran the show - N'gog. -
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
