Eye of the Tiger - right till the very last second of the very last game

So the mancs did it again ... Got lucking and got a lot of help from a ****ing bent linesman if I ever seen one and 5 ****ing minutes of extra time. But hey lets not lose sight of the fact that they were ****e for large parts of that game. Gary Nevile was ate up on the right, there defence looked at six's and sevens.

We need them to drop points twice and I can see them doing that. I do not subscribe to the idea that this result will give them a lift. They are having to fight for every point each game and I can see them doing it till the end of the season. We have been the best team in the League this season, we are the team turning out week in week out at the business end of the season and taking teams apart ..

They are hanging on for there very lifes ..2 draws .. simple and we win the lg .. I can easily see it happening ..

Even if its down to the last 2 matchs .. once we do our part and win our games .. they will slip up .. I can see it starting at Sunderland next weekend.

Agree with most of it, but of course today gave them a lift, it's lunacy to think otherwise. They won without half their team, when they'd played **** and deserved to lose - obviously the result will lift them and instill confidence. With Rooney, Vidic, Ferdinand, Scholes and Berbatov coming back, they'll take some shifting. It's not impossible by any means, however. Just need a bit of luck and in the meantime, we must keep winning.

As for Sunderland, i hope you're right. But you probably also saw it starting today against Villa

No I disagree as do many of the pundits. They are a team even when fully fit that just dont seem to gel together .. There defence is becoming more and more suspect each game, they rely heavily on Ronaldo free kicks .. we are getting to the stage now were weary legs may start to show .. they really truly did not deserve 3 points from that game.. how many times have we said that this season.

It will give them a lift in the form of relief but I don't think they will be exactly brimming with confidence next game .. there is a nervousness to there games these days .. In the back of there mind they know we are breathing down there neck and looking good

Win all our games and we will win the title Nicey, but that is a big ask.

But after Boro I thought the title was gone, and posted a thread where I asked the players to keep fighting, as this meant that United would not be able to rest their players in Europe and would lessen their chances of winning old big ears.

Well that part of the plan is already well on course and they face a difficult Porto tie on Tuesday, no matter what Craig H and everyone else says. Everyone is clouded by how ****e S. Lisbon were.

Put simply we have been given another chance and we have to take it. Tiredness, coupled with pressure will mean cracks have appeared big style, and will continue to do so in the Mancs.

But all we have to do is concentrate on winning our games. Nothing else we can do, and nothing else we can affect.

LOL just read your signature .. can I make a case for banning Joe King for the first half of next season as punishment for making such a ludicrous statement ..

We are more the capable of beating everyone put in front of us ... we need as little luck and we are there ... Nothing worth having is every got easily and we all know we like to do this the hard way to keep all those cardiologists in business

I'm with you 100% Nicey. We'll never give up and make them suffer all the way. We destroyed Villa 5-0. They needed 5 extra minutes to win 3-2. They'll slip up for sure; we have everything to play for.

Get stuck in for ****s sake .. ****ing hammer Ronaldo .. target Neville .. think Martin O'Neil might have something to answer for there also ... with 10 minutes to go .. and United turning up the heath perhaps take a striker off and close out the game ..

Another nail in the coffin of myth that Martin O'Neil is a good manager, can't get a point against Utd when they are low on confidence and missing half a team.
Show's Villa up for what they are which is a hard working team that are over relient on set pieces.

Couple of things, the 17 yr old who got Utd's winner is Italian who Utd signed when he was 15/16 and moved his family over but no doubt it's another off the 'United production line of talented youngsters' Rafa brings in young kids and we're ruining the english game and stifling home grown talent.

All we can do is keep winning our games and hope the season catches up with them or we get a bit of luck.
Now let's **** over Chelsea on Wednesday
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

anyone on here asks for MON to manage us can remember this match before they pipe up again

the man is a tactical retard. had 3 points available to him in his quest for 4th place and he couldnt shut up shop against a sh1t united side.

as Bidrman says, that game should be the nail in the coffin for that dosy tw@t

Spot on mate i said in the match thread that he is a clown. When you are 2-1 up at old trafford you tell your team to shut up shop and keep hold of the ball. But not Martin can only win in the ****ty SPL oneil. He sits back and sees his team still attacking and giving the ball away. ****ing jumping leprechaun!!!

Brian Clough would be turning in his grave yesterday seeing the tactics O'neil used in the last 10 minutes!
