i agree about tevez big time and he is intelligent enough to interlink with stevie in 2 of the 3 positions behind torres.........also, in the event of el nino being unavailable, then tevz could play the lone striker with stevie behind him........

Getting back to the original post, i reckon united are stumbling alright. They looked jaded last night and every porto player had the measure of a united player over 10 yards..... van der sar looks like he has a major confidence problem - probably due to the fact that the defense in front of him is changing every game - but he looks dodgy none-the-less....

I have to say that a lot of the utd fans I work with were delighted with Sunday and saying it would lift the team, much like their drunkard manager was. On last nights performance it doesn't look that way does it.

Not sure how many were as sub, but Tevez's League/Apps record in the league is 23/3. He's a cup player for them

He's not good enough to start ahead of Gerrard or Torres and the asking price was (is it still?) £30m..too much for a backup
