Now there's a question. Would you take Mourinho post-Chelsea. I know i would have pre-Chelsea. Certainly wouldn't now, and i'm sure the board wouldn't stamp that deal either. He'll manage Portugal next, surely.Originally posted by The GloveI dont even think he would needto be bored. If Rafa's job came up he'd be in like a shot. He'd have been here already if he hadnt gave his word to Chelsea....

I dont think I could take him straight from Chelsea. If he left Chelsea in the Summer, took Portugal to the next World cup and then there was a vacancy here in 2010, I think Id be tempted to let him come here then. unless of course another top draw contender was available.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

Real Madrid are not the only club who could tempt Rafa. Barcelona could be a future possibility and Chelski would go after him if Maureen leaves/gets pushed. Don't think he would consider the Chavs, but don't write off Barca in the future.Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it

I don't think i'd be happy with a man as undignified as that in charge of our club. up front to change a game. Can't argue to much with his results though. I also don't get the same impression he'd come here in a shot - given the chance.

I'm as sure as I can be that he'll manage Real after us. More so if they stick with Capello for two years. He's Madrid through and through.Originally posted by GrouchoReal Madrid are not the only club who could tempt Rafa. I wouldn't want him at our club.Originally posted by The GloveI dont think I could take him straight from Chelsea. Just look at the way he acts and draws attention to himself with his sociopathic "look at me" nonsense. Shankly would be spinning in his grave if he arrived.
Plus I don't think he's as good a manager as he, and others make him out to be. Fine he did well at Porto, Portugals biggest club. But wouldn't any other manager worth their salt achieve what he has done at Chelsea with that budget. And look at the players he's signed; Drogba £24m, only slightly better than Cisse or Heskey, Carvahlo £20m, good player, Essien £25m, we got Sissoko for a 5th of the price, Ferriera, mediocre, Whinging **** Cashley, Ballack on £150k a week, he still picks Lampard, and the likes of Robben, Cech, Terry, Joe Cole, Makelele, Chelsea's best players were bought by Ranieri.
Leave the **** where he's at. From his perspective he's at the perfect club. A soulless second rate club where he's a big fish in a small pond and his ridiculous ego can be flaunted without restraint.Last edited by CharlieMansonsSquint; 09-10-06, 10:37 PM.I hate Polanski

Not that he isn't good but he can't be any better than people rate him. As far as I can tell he is considered the god of football without actually having won anything (major).Originally posted by BobIt would be careless for the board not to consider this on a season by season basis, so IMO it's a worthwhile topic.
We don't seem to have a structure in place to groom a manager like Man U have.
Personally, i think O'Neil is a lot better than people give him credit for. Dare i say Le Guen, though his Rangers career has been less than impressive thus far.

He'd come here no problem if he was offered it. He loves us.
1) He never shuts up about us.
2) As soon as Ged left he was gutted that he'd said he'd go to Chelsea because we wanted him. His pic was on the front page of the offal for long enough at the time.
3) He always goes on about being a great manager like Shanks and Paisley. Not a hint of any other ****er, just those 2.
He hates us because he loves us so much.

king kenny would be the ideal one...
but rafa has said that he wants to be here for 10 + years so hopefully we wont have to think about this for a while..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."
