If we can go in ahead at half-time then everything is possible. They will get the jitters as they did today.
We must take care of Drogba though, he is the key man for them. If we can keep a clean sheet and Gerrard & Torres are in top form as at Old Toilet then we can do it for sure, especially with Terry missing. Carvalho is not ready yet as today showed and Alex could be a liability for them against Torres pace.

The whole side more or less needs to be on their game imo, but it happens in football, amazing games and results that no-one really expects.Originally posted by Montana View PostAurelio & Alonso need to be on their game too with set-pieces
If our boys are in inspired form..and the pressure in a way will be off, most if not all will have written us off beforehand so that suits us fine for the task at hand, no nervy touches...just go out and express themselves, score wonderful goals, and make them Chavs spit their eels & mash out as the Redmen bulge the Chav net time and again..

This is definitely not impossible, highly unlikely but say we get a pen after 15mins and they get a man sent off for handball on the line? Very wishful thinking but you just never know, we'll just have to give it a massive go and hopefully if we do go out morale isnt to bad as it kind of feels like we're out already anyway.
I still cant stop thinking about Arsenal mind, I just want this out of the way, win, lose or draw.

I feel todays result could not have gone any better going in to this game. like somebody else said, if anybody can do it, its us, and i said before last week that i thought we would do better at the bridge than at home, being the underdogs makes us preform better. Is it possible? you better believe it is.

Man Utd have Pompey at home a day or so later, a game they will surely collect three points from. So we simply HAVE to beat Arsenal at Anfield go take it right down to the wire...

I've said it before, the ****ers are there for the taking next week. If we can bag a couple of early goals then why can't we beat them.
One thing's for sure, they'll be nowhere as good on Tuesday as they were last week.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I think the same, i would put Babel on the left to try and have a go at Ivanovic. Mascherano would need to play a little deeper though and would need to cover Lampard better than we did last week.Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostLike to see 442 with Gerrard on the right. unlikely Essien will man mark him if he stays out there.
Plus gives Torres and Kuyt the chance to get on the end of a few crosses, especially with Terry absent.
Sadly can't see Rafa doing this.Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??

It sounds difficult but break it up into segments and it's easily feasible
Part 1 - 1 nil up at half time,
Part 2 - score another one before seventy
Part 3 - then go for jugular fir twenty minutes

Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

If we're 1-0 up at the break, even a goal with 10 mins left would make it interesting. Especially if they havent scored. If they'd scored, they'd have the slight comfort of knowing there'd be extra time if we found a third. If we're 0-2 up, they'll be absolutely ****ting it.
I dont think we'll turn it around, mind. It needs to be a night where we take all of our real chances and they take virtually none.
