So - are we all still supporting the Blues on Saturday then? Or was this just a sentimental thought in the emotional anniversary week, when we thought their win would be a consolation in comparison to our league title anyway?

I'll still be hoping they win. I reckon they could get stuffed though...

I hope everton win. Although probably easier for me to say because I don't live in the city.

Can't be bothered with the sight of Drogba dancing around with another cup. ****

                This one's uncanny.

I certainly hope Everton win and reading this thread again I totally agree with the sentiment about returning to banter with Evertonians rather than hatred.

On a side note, who would you support if it was Tranmere v Everton in the final?

Im trying my best to stick to this too but finding it increasingly difficult, and I will give you an example as to why:

I was in a nice local pub in Liverpool the other week when the Man Utd v Wigan match was on. The pub in question doesnt show footy but does have a pc hooked up to the web. There was a gang of four middle aged men on there every two minutes refreshing the score on the BBC website. Midway into the 2nd half I asked them the score and they told me 1-0 Wigan. I asked them if they were Liverpool fans, they said they were all Evertonians. What were they so ****ing interested in that match for? I think you can all guess!

Anyway United came back and won as we all know and they sat there smug as ****.......then changed the screensaver to a Man United one and left

I have found it pretty hard to stick to this pro-Everton stance since that nght to be honest.

So I take it Pablo you would side with Tranmere then.

                          I would.

Getting cold feet over supporting Everton if I'm being honest. I was very big on the idea at first, but that thought has diminished as time has gone on.

Had we won the title I'd be in the Everton camp for sure, but having them win a trophy whilst our wait touches three years is hard to take. The stick I'd get of my uncles would not be nice, but I feel more for our more locally based fans. Getting that every day would be well annoying.

                          I'm unsure....................
                          Forwards.......

I can't really see a downside here. If Everton win and Liverpool fans are magnanimous about it then either they'll appreciate how gracious we've been (which might make things change a bit) or, what I think is more likely to be honest, is they'll think we're patronising them and, so long as we can stick to that and smile through their barbs, that will just annoy them.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
