Straw man. Again, Syd. You're sliding back to your old ways.
Ok Neil, i'll do it properly because you're right, it's silly to go back and forth.

I simply said that what rafa has done (meaning some decisions) has played its part in us dropping so many home points. And when i described it as being the truth, you described it as being merely my theory, which implies that you dont see it as being the truth.

So from that, it seems as though you disagree with what i initially said.

When questioned on it, you declined to answer the question.

I'll leave it at that, because the answer to the question is plainly obvious, even though you didnt want to answer it.

The theory I was referring to was the one where you blame our inability to finish ahead of Man United on dropping points in certain games and not others. It's arbitrary, as I said before, and, as is your style, tendentious.

I'm not the only one who sees your arguing like this - BrianF80 made exactly the same observation in his first comment in the 'Man Management' thread.

Now, next time, try to return the courtesy of not assuming I'm a moron because I don't see things like you.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Well no, i dont do that. You had a go at me for allegedly thinking i know what you're thinking - yet, you're doing exactly the same thing. You're polite as anything when i say something you agree with. When that doesnt happen, you're just aggressive and provocative. But whatever. I'll put you back on ignore and that'll sort it.

craig mate, its not what you say its the way you say it, your original comment on here looks like a side swipe at rafa, very sydney like

Its not the first time mate tbf and although you are more than welcome to your opinions, and a lot of them we all can agree on, for me you still blame rafa for any points dropped far more than any other reason, and when your picked up on it you deny it mate.

like i said its your opinion but stick to it fella

Pezzer mate - i've said on several occasions that i AGREE with Rafa's methods of man management - it's here for all too see.

Why take what it 'looks like' rather than what i've actually said? Unless people actually WANT to just assume the worst conclusion, regardless of what i've actually said?

It's a bit like me saying how much i rate Alonso, and people drawing the conclusion that i think he's rubbish. Makes no sense.

I think Rafa plays a PART for our results, same as any manager plays a part in the fortunes of their team. I dont think it's down to just Rafa - something else i've said on this thread. Yet again though, people ignore what i actually say and choose to read something into things i've said, which are open to interpretation.

I hope you can appreciate that it's a bit frustrating when people are telling me what i apparently think - even more so when it's actually not true.

But anyway, i'll leave it be. Not really worth the effort anymore.

                fair play mate
if thats your stance now then im more than happy to believe what you say, BUT craig, in the previous months whenever the question of rafa's tactics/management/team selection have been raised you have been very much in the I,K,B,T,R,B, if that has now changed then fantastic, if it hasnt then thats fine too, were all intitled too our opinions mate

The day of days. 35 games and it all comes down to this. 90 minutes of football could well decide our destiny and put us where we belong come the end of the season. Make no doubts about it, this is potentially the most important game in our recent history.

Win today and then that's it. Job done. We can then relax for a week and see if the Mancs really are the real deal.

Lets get to the top of the table and ask our final questions of Man Utd. They can win it or lose it in the next three games. We play West Brom next week by which time the title race could be over or still alive. But lets make them win it the hard way.
