Hull will literally sweat blood to stay up on the last day, especially at home, so if (and that's a big if) we're in with a shout on the final day I would rather be in our position playing Spurs at home rather than Hull away.

Too late pal, a win against Wigan(who are in bad form) tomorrow night all they'll need is a point at home to Arsenal(also in bad shape) to clinch it.
Proud of the lads though, we've fought hard to be in with a chance so close to the end."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Agree, don't mean to put a downer on things but it'll probably be over before we kick off against WBA. But onmwards and upwards, this season has beaten my expectations. Lets hope we do it next year!Originally posted by Marky View PostToo late pal, a win against Wigan(who are in bad form) tomorrow night all they'll need is a point at home to Arsenal(also in bad shape) to clinch it.

I think its probably gone too, the Villa and Spurs capitulations were the keys to this title run-in...... however, its been a really good season in the end, we put in a genuine title challenge and could have won it barring a dodgy spell mid season which really, was brought on by our squad being one or two players away from being able to handle things like injuries to Torres. Very proud of the way the team has performed the last few months; I think we can look forward to next season with genuine hopes rather than tentative ones, and its a long time since we've been able to do that.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

I dont think it'll come to the last day, but i'd rather be in the Manc's position needing a draw at Hull than us needing to beat Spurs.Originally posted by Nick77 View PostHull will literally sweat blood to stay up on the last day, especially at home, so if (and that's a big if) we're in with a shout on the final day I would rather be in our position playing Spurs at home rather than Hull away.
Only if they dont pick up 4 points in the next two games.Originally posted by The Birdman View PostI agree, even if Utd beat Hull on the last day to win it at least Fergie will have to play a full strength side 3 days before the CL final
I'd be surprised - they'll try to out-football us, which will not even be a contest.Originally posted by red g View Posti bizarrely think Wba might turn us over......!!

How about this for a scenario:
ManU beat Wigan, and think the title race is all over. Then a pumped up Arsenal come and beat them at Old Trafford, salvaging some pride from a poor season.
ManU then lose on the last day of the season at Hull, who need the 3 points to stay up in front of their own fans.
Liverpool win their remainingg games, winning the title on goal differance!

I think that's the only even remotely realistic scenario.Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostHow about this for a scenario:
