Liverpool win their remainingg games, winning the title on goal differance!
This is exactly what crossed my mind when reading the first post of the thread. it must be in the name - great left wingers think alike...

i am (which is suprising for me) still hopeful, i still think there might be a shock or sting in the tail - i know it's looking highly unlikey but i just feel a little slip or mistake might just give us a chance - all it takes is for them to batter wigan but be 1-0 up and concede a later equaliser and the boat will rock - until they get the four points required, we still have a chance and we have to believe - put it this way

right now we surely have more chance to win the league, than we did to win the european cup at 3-0 down at half time.

Bad news - Zaki is out for Wigan and Kirkland is doubtful.

I'll say no until I get super desperate, then I'll start looking at Spurs tickets. Think I can get a ticket on the net for about £350 now. If Wigan and Arsenal stop Utd getting 4 points, I think i'll be looking at five or six hundre for a ticket Would probably pay it though.

Even worse, Wigan are managed by Bernard Cribbins who will love nothing more than bending over for his old gaffer.

Rodallega to turn in a virtuoso performance and net 2 goals in a 2-1 win for Wigan

We may give up the ghost now lads. If United were still playing the dodgy football that somehow got them wins over Villa and Spurs, I'd still be hopeful, but they're over the hump now and home and dry. Never say never I suppose, but we have about a 2% chance of winning the title now I believe.
