I saw GeordieJosh wasn't happy about it
I haven't seen much (anything) of Munoz that I can remember, so will have to look out for him. It seems like a reasonable price for a player in this day and age when £100m prices are getting chucked around alot, hopefully he can be a good signing for a not excessive fee. I also like when these deals seemingly come from nowhere

Sounds like a nice kid
"It's never easy to say goodbye to a place where I've been so happy and where I've experienced the best year of my football career," Munoz begins.
"From day one, I felt a connection to this badge, this shirt, and the values it represents. I've always tried to repay the affection I've received on the pitch, giving my all in every training session and every match.
"I've enjoyed every moment at El Sadar. Those magical afternoons and evenings, the atmosphere, the fans' unwavering support, and everything we've shared are memories I'll always cherish.
"I want to thank the board for believing in me and trusting me from the very beginning; the staff for helping me grow both as a footballer and as a person; and my teammates, who welcomed me from day one as one of their own, with whom I've shared unforgettable moments.
"I'm leaving with much more than just football. I'm taking friendships, lessons learned, and people who will be a part of my life forever.
"I also want to thank Navarre and Pamplona for how they welcomed me from day one. You made me feel at home, and that's something I'll never forget and can't thank you enough for. This land will always hold a very special place in my heart.
"And, of course, thank you to all the Osasuna fans for your support and for making me feel at home from the very beginning. Osasuna always in my heart. Thank you all so much. Go Osasuna!"
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Plus career stage where the g&a may now grow in a better team.. like Mane.. like Salah. We'll see.
His underlying numbers with regards to take ons, pressures, chances made for self, chances made for others, dribbles made and completed per 90, springs per 90 and when in the game he is still making them, and so on are all very good apparantly. By all accounts he is short but quite physical. Not sure if the being physical thing is by La Liga standards though.

First impressions are he looks fast with a hustle and bustle style, with an erratic end product, as evidenced by the number of times a highlight cuts away to another highlight (in the admittedly small sample size of 2 vids I've watched) ) before he's made a pass or got a cross/shot away - which tells me the move broke down with him. And he's another small player, Hhmm. Hopefully he'll feature for Spain so we see him in a live game.

One of the fastest players in La Liga & as many dribbles as Mbappe. On paper you can see exactly why we bought him, versatile, pace and dribbling is something our current side is devoid of. Him not being injured would be nice though and that end product really needs improving. Apparently he has been carrying an injury towards the end of last season but played through because he wanted to help the club stay up, so you have to respect that attitude, especially potentially f***ing himself for the world cup. Many of our lads were phoning it in last season and protecting themselves for the world cup.

It's an interesting one with our forward line (or potential forward line) next season, Munoz fast but is still young and probably needs to develop his game with experience, we are linked with Diomande who is in a similar situation but is slightly younger, and we have Ngumoha who is the same but younger still, add to that Wirtz who looked top quality in Germany but is (largely) yet to prove himself here and Isak who was great for Newcastle but again is yet to prove himself here (plus Ekitike who will likely miss most of the season). We could in a couple of years time find ourselves with the best attack in the world (again) or we could be looking at it as a collection of misfits many of whom need replacing. In either case I think the largely young profile of the group means we could be in for some frustrating moments over the next year or two as things develop whether we end up with one of the best attacks in the world or not.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
