Yeah....I don't think he likes receiving the ball with his back to goal. He has great vision and likes the little slide rule pass; in this deeper role he gets to utilise this a lot more.

Its interesting what the team can do once you bring on the good players. Suddenly humidity and heat isnt an excuse for them. The others however...again shown up. Need to replace them badly.

Singapore tiring could have been the key eh? And maybe that was Rafa's instructions to up the tempo in the second half. It's clear that Torres, Kuyt and Xabi coming on would have improved the team anyway.

Aye, I was impressed with him in that role, he had never impressed me as a striker before.

I hope Nemeth gets an opportunity to prove himself in the league. We'll never know if he's good enough until then. His manner of finishing suggests he's good enough - like Robbie he always finds the corner of the net.

Sure you could use those excuses. But they were also replacing alot of players aswell. They cant have all been tired. Especially not in the instant the better players came on. We actually did alot more up front iwth kuyt, nemeth, torres then what voronin, babel, ngog managed.

They made a lot less changes than we did. There players aren't at the same fitness levels ours are. Dirk NEVER runs out of Energy and Torres, Dirk and Nemeth were only playing for about 20 mins.

I really don't think Spearing is good enough mate. Certainly not at the same standard as Xabi, Masch or Lucas and probably not as good as Plessis at present either.
