All he does is walks around the pitch and showing off his supposed technical skills, I can see why PSG weren't gutted to lose him. He's a passenger, and will never ever make it here. You can quote me on that.

It has been very clear since we signed him that he lacks an end product. Of all his skills I would say his ability to shoot is his worst attribute. In fact maybe that's a bit harsh. Maybe it's his lack of confidence that effects him and he doesn't shoot often enough.

I am thinking back to last years games and I can hardly remember him having a shot on target. Even when I watched him for France in the summer he hardly ever had a shot on goal.

That is the biggest worry for me. If he can develop a killer instinct he could develop into a very good player, as he has the ability. He's just not showing it. It can be excused in the premiership for his first season and also during pre-season. But he will soon run out of excuses if he doesn't step up. Especially if we have to rely on him next year.

Despite that though I think he will still turn out as a decent player. But that's a world away from being Liverpool class. Whether he ever gets good enough to be a regular for us is another matter.
