Nope, we only remember how he destroyed Barca at the Nou Camp and managed to kick the ball completely vertical about a mile above his head against United.Originally posted by BillobShaisley View PostI'd preffer Lucas to Momo, not the Momo before he got his eye kicked in, but todays Momo. Do we not remember how awful he became at the end of his stay?
I miss him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

thats 2 seasons of objectivity.not good enough for the premiership.bottom line ... another liverpool flop .the sooner we get rid of him the better prepared we will be.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostYou're building your assumptions into your analysis. That's fine but don't kid yourself you're looking at this with even the tiniest amount of objectivity.

OK, there's no real need to repeat what you think. I was trying to discuss why Rafa appears to see it differently to you which is what you said you found mystifying.Originally posted by flyboy View Postthats 2 seasons of objectivity.not good enough for the premiership.bottom line ... another liverpool flop .the sooner we get rid of him the better prepared we will be..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I really like Lucas. I hope that he will kick on this season but even last season I thought he was a good player who made a couple of bad mistakes with ill judged tackles.
The talk of him not being able to pass really does fly in the face of all evidence in terms of statistics."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I don't follow your analogy but that's because your logic is somewhat flawed.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostBy the same rational if you took a Ferrari, dropped sugar in the tank and slashed all the tyres a Fiat Uno would compare to it performance wise.
If you want a car analogy then Lucas would be the relatively reliable but uninspired Honda that does most things well most of the time but doesn't truly excel at anything in particular. Xabi would be the Alfa Romeo that has been really good for the past year but had been underpowered and a but unreliable for the previous two. Compare the last year and you would rather keep the Alfa. Compare the three years and the Honda doesn't seem so bad.Never knowingly optimistic

You've obviously thought about this quite a bitThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
