Oh dear, I do hope we improve on that.
    Really?

Who've we got on in defence right now?

(now that I've missed the final whistle that should read "who did we have in defence?")

We've successfully participated in the 'make Espanyol look really good for the first game in their new ground' project.
That's the way I'd prefer to think about it. Wonder if it's illegal to throw a friendly?
        Really?

I'm sure we will very much so, we won't have been playing flat out, we will have a different back line and it won't be a friendlies when the league begins.

Degen, Babel, N'Gog, Voronin - what is the point. Seriously. Let's just get whatever we can for them. N'Gog is a very poor striker. And we couldn't give Babel away the way he's playing.

On a positive note, Degen looked pretty good in throw ins today. Definitely better outside the pitch.

I prefer him on the bench.

I prefer him in the treatment room.

Funny that, but on a serious note, he looks like he has never played football before. What on earth will happen to us if Johnson is injured for an extended period of time? Darby can't be this bad surely?

We need to buy Steven Taylor, or some other CB who can play RB and not suck at it horribly.

                                ABSOLUTELY agree

                                - Degen - stopping every time he has had the ball - cannot run for the ball or take on his own man - may be able to take the ball into the pen.area of the opponent, but unable to make an end product.

                                - Babel - isn't trusted by his teammates - and don't trust the others - desperate to show off his own (lack) of qualities - made one - 1 - ok pass from the left.

                                - N'Gog - take care no winds comes around, as he will be blown away. Unable to find any space - or to receive a ball while running - just not LFC-quality.

                                - Voronin - just to unstable - from time to time brings forward quality passes or shots - and then loses the ball to be played directly into our own goal. A real liability!!!

Besides them - I hope Rafa makes an extra training season in defending for SanJose and Kelly - and just finds creative ways to get those above mentioned 4 anti-heros skipped out of the club!!
