Will you ever forget Xabi missing that penalty and the split second of sick disappointment before he pops up again and powers in the rebound to send a rush of adrenaline pumping so hard through your veins that you thought your head was going to explode? I won't.

I'll really miss having him in our midfield....having a player like him. That unmistakable upright style of play. I always shouted for our lads to 'GIVE IT XABI!'. Always felt so comfortable when Alonso was in possession. Having suffered a few ball-allergic types like Diao over the years, it was a beautiful thing when Xabi got the ball. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Edit: Does leave a bitter taste though when Alonso mentioned getting everything sorted "as soon as possible. For better or for worse".

Obviously ive been expecting it but it doesnt really soften the blow any. Let's hope we replace him with a player or two of similar quality although i doubt we'll see his like again.'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

As always, I agree with you Shaggy

Excellent player.
I agree with Shaggy.
I am Shaggy..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
