Here is another classic from Demento

And, while Ferguson has already admitted Ronaldo will be a "massive loss", he denies the argument that United cannot prosper without the world player of the year.

"We were never a one-man team," he said.

am certain he saw us as the main challengers this season and wrote of the chavs/Citeh and/or Arsenal a few weeks ago. No doubt in a few weeks someone else will be written off

We've lost one player who IMO, won't be too hard to replace and won't make a huge bearing on our attack. They've lost their 2 best players and we've still got our 2. If we don't finish above Utd this year it will be a massive disappointment and surprise.

They struggled to scrape one-goal wins in 16 league games when they had their best player in the team so how likely is it that they could do it again? For that matter, why do you assume that Chelsea will improve enough to overtake us? I know you always like to praise the opposition beyond all reason and like to denigrate Liverpool performances and players, but nothing you've said on this makes sense
Except for the bit about denigrating our performances, not sure thats particularly warranted

I think Threads like this should be locked and deleted, Who gives a flying **** what that excuse of a man has to say about us. If he knew that this was a hot topic across LFC sites he would be pissing himself knowing that all he is doing is pissing us off which of course is the scumbags aim.

I honestly think come January/February, Rafa will be writing the Mancs off.

That will be a fantastic Happy New Year pressie from Rafa to Purplenose.

              You've got form

I dont see how you could fail to understand or agree with the point - you do something you havent been able to do in 20 years - which indicates it was incredibly difficult. Your next task is to now do even BETTER than what you couldnt do in two decades.

You dont think that's a big ask?

How many times in the last 20 years have United been written off, only to wind up winning the title. That hasnt happened by coincidence.

Yes, there's a big void left by Ronaldo and Tevez's departures. But experience tells me that, more often than not, those ******s find ways to cope with the loss of big players enough to still win titles.

I'm not saying they'll undoubtedly win it. But i wouldnt be remotely surprised.

The same questions were asked when they sold RvN. "Where will the goals come from". It's proven to be a major fallacy.

As for what's likely - how likely is it that we'll have 10 penalties again? How likely is it that we'll have an opponent sent off 8 times? How likely is it that we'll do the double over United and Chelsea again?

Where did i assume Chelsea will overtake us? I said if the manager nails it.

I dont expect my posts to make sense to you, because you're one of the most red tinted posters on this, or any other LFC forum.

Anything to do with LFC is great and anything to do with the others, is apparently ****.

Well i remember plenty of red tinted musings from you last season and guess what - we won **** all.

Of course it isn't easy but my point is in twenty years we have never been in a better position to go one step further than we managed last season and win it. Any other season in that time it was a 'bigger ask'.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
