Didn't he say something not long ago about that was how he felt when he left the scum but his feeling had mellowed and he'd like to play in the Premier League again. I still imagine he'd have reservations about coming to us but still.

I duno if he said that lately but maybe it was around the time he was linked to Chelse and Spurs. But there is no way he would join us anyway, too much rivalry

I can see the attraction of the idea. I don't think he is ready for the PL big time on a regular basis but if we believe in Lucas and or got in someone else he could be very effective. He would certainly help with set pieces and that could be vital against the poor teams.

I'm sure it was round about the time his loan at AC Milan ended and he went back to LA Galaxy.

Personally I hope he wouldn't join us, it wouldn't be a good move for us

Ferguson tried playing him in the Alonso role when he was in his prime and it didnt work. Its not going to work now when he's 4 years past his best. Would be a terrible move

Financially it would be a massive sucess for the club, just imagine how many shirts he would sell for the club.

Not sure whether he would be a good replacement for Xabi though, I think Xabi is a better player now than Beckam is.

Personally he is the pass master, remember the last England game he played spraying it around.

That would leave us 22m to get Silva.

What do you think to this:

                  --------------------Torres------------------
                  --Silva------------Gerrard------------Kuyt--
                  --------------Mash------Becks--------------
                  Insua---------Agger-----Carra-------Johnson
                  --------------------Reina-------------------

Becks would add home grown players and has experience of winning Premiership and Champions League?

Far fetched I know but I think it would work for a year or so.
Beckham is total ****. He hasn't been any good for years. I could kick my hat faster down the wing than he can run

                    I'd like to see that.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Owen was never a true red. Beckham on the other hand is Man U through and through.

I agree with this idea 100%

I also feel we should offer Romario one final big pay day. The lad has always known where the goal is and you never lose that instinct. Play him against the likes of Stoke and Hull and he'll score a bucket load. You nutter.

If he was cheap enough I think I would take a punt on Kranjcar. I wouldn’t buy him at the expense of anyone else, but if we had some money left over he could be a useful addition. Although position wise he’s quite similar to Benni, I think he could also play the Xabi role.

He’d be a lot cheaper than Arteta that a few people have suggested.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
