Thanjk you.

I dont think he doesn't not try, i think it's solely a confidence thing.
If he was ripping every full back in the country to shreds, setting up goals and scoring you'd see him on the ball and doing his stuff.
It's really sad that it's not working out for him, i just hope he has one of them games when everything goes for him and he's off and running.
Maybe but that ****ed me off big time, and i shouldnt imagine rafa would've been too impressed with it either.
There's us fans forking out fortunes in cash and ****ing hours (days off work etc) and loads of effort to go and support. There's team mates working their arses off trying to fix the situation. And he's there laughing? **** that ****.

How's he or anyone else going to fix the situation at the end of the game?
Sulking get's you nowhere in life unless you're a kid or a pet dog. Better to stay positive really. I understand why you may feel hard done by, but I really feel that sometimes people look into things a little too deep.
I have to say I have struggled with this question for some time now. Initially we all use to roll out the mantra, The lad has obvious talent, but I think that was a product of the fact he came from Ajax cost something like 11 million and was young. Put them 3 pieces of salient information together and you get talent. But the performances would indicate something quite the opposite.
So far I have only ever seen him work as an Impact sub, whilst his work rate has improved a little recently he does not seem up to scratch. I am still holding out for perhaps now we will see the player everybody has been banging on about this season. For a lad who is quicker than Torres he really does not use his pace to full advantage, he does not cut inside enough and his touch and close ball control is not really up there with the best. I will be honest I dont like it when I see his name on the team sheets. I hope he proves me wrong but I am not confident

I think that opinion is very fair. I'm sure ryan could argue he needs a run of games to get his "flip and flow" together, but to get that you need to prove something when you do get a chance. By and large Ryan has only done this on the odd occasion, goals against Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea mean nothing if he can't produce over 90 minutes.
My problem with Ryan is that he only tends to use his left peg for standing on. Doesn't seem to want to use it to pass or shoot. Makes him predictable and a one trick pony will get shown up at a top club like Liverpool. If he used it more it would mean defenders can not just show him the outside, which increases his chances of coming inside and setting up that belter of a shot he's got.

I don’t buy that, it’s a myth that people choose to believe rather than check the stats. All you heard from people on here at the start of least season was that Rafa never gives him enough games and how he’d be ten times the player Kuyt is if he was played as much. But at the end of his first season, he started something like 15 of the last 20 games (not sure how many exactly, but a large proportion anyway) and was largely disappointing.
Edit: Just realised you are talking about a run of games from now, but point still stands anyway.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I don't think the 'not try hard' comment is fair about Babel. He's maybe thick (there's a lot of people who are anyway) and is devoid of any footballing intelligence whatsoever but you can't fault him for not trying.
It just isn't happening for him and supporting him might be the best way to get him out of this rot.
**** off. He's the laziest cunt ive ever seen play the game. Berba****'s got nothing on Babel.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Just because your not laughing doesn't mean you are sulking though

exactly, He is not interested unless the ball is coming to him, unless rafa said stay on the wing do **** all and dont come looking for the ball makes him 1 lazy ****.
we have been well and truly ****ed over on this deal, he will be back in holland next season, best we can hope for is a swap deal for someone talented as think we would struggle to get half our monies back!

I didnt say anything about HIM fixing the situation, i said while his team mates are trying to fix it.
It's not thinking too deep at all to expect the players to at least LOOK like they care about what's happening on the pitch.
If he wishes to laugh about scenarios like that, he should do it in private, and not in front of the fans.

The game was over. There was nothing to fix. Why do you want players to look like they care? To make you feel better? It would be nice I admit, but I don't see the big deal.
Without knowing Ryan or working with him I can't say how he reacts to bad situations, whether he cares or whether he doesn't. All I can say is that if I was manager and I had a player who didn't care about how the club or himself did, he would be out the door. I'm hoping Rafa would do the same.
I've been to a funeral and seen people laugh and I can assure you they weren't laughing about a loved ones death. Other people there were silent, still in shock. Now if people can try and stay positive at funeral I'm damned sure they can do when a game of football goes up in smoke.
