    THE Ryan Babel thread

    What are Ryan Babel's Talents?

Now I've had to endure watching this useless pathetic excuse of a footballer for 2 seasons now and still cannot understand why a) he is a reputable international player, b) we signed him, c) we play him?

Now maybe I've missed something but I cannot see one single skill/talent/attribute to warrant being a professional footballer. Granted he can run fast without the ball but what is the use of that?

I normally support every single player we have but his lazy, bone-idle and selfish playing style is really starting to get on my wick!!!

        Like that was it.

I've just got home from work and just read the MOTM thread. Not a good day by the sounds of it.

Probaly his worst "performance" in a red shirt, and its a shame because by how things were in preseason i was expecting a better ryan babel this season.

He's great at giving the ball straight back to the person who passed to him.

he excels in having no game intelligence at all.

his lack of hunger is outstanding to

his uselessness with both feet is also a rare skill

                  He can run fast.....

Can't see why everyone is having a go and singling him out. Gerrard, Kuyt and Torres were just as bad as him yesterday.

Difference is but they had an off day, Babel was just business as usual.

I agree, Saj my man, equally Carragher no simple passes to the middle of the park, well there was no out let just a huoff to Kyut. To be fair Kyut won most of the headers they just went to a spurs player.

He gets the ball, he gets closed down, he loses the ball

I am astonished by Rafa selecting him ahead of Benni tbh, but Babel must be brilliant in training or something.

He really had the potential and it just seems to have gone - worryingly I think the coaching is to blam just as much as him.
