Will it hurt your feelings if I say I don't like it?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYou should use it saj. But maybe add a bit to it?
I came up with this, so see what you think:
So catch me if you can, cos i'm a scouser man,
And what you're looking at is the master plan,
We aint no hooligans, this aint a football song,
Liverbird on my chest, i know i cant go wrong...
Just came up with that off the top of my head, what dya think?
My kebab comes with chilli sauce

I think changing system would be a bit knee jerk. I'd like to see Benayoun in for Babel and nought else changed. I think we need to develop as settled a team as we can considering the injuries we appear to have and the fact that we are already having to adapt to the loss of one of our more influential players from last season."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I'm not sure if your knee-jerk comment was refering to my post or some of the others, the team I suggested is playing a similar system to our normal one but with a more attacking central midfield. That isn't a reaction to Sunday's result, it's something I've thought we should do for a while at home against teams who are likely to park the bus, as I see no need for 2 holding players, the extra attack minded player could help us play at a higher tempo in this matches which I think we need to do more oftenOriginally posted by dww View PostI think changing system would be a bit knee jerk. No ones post at all really. It was a general comment that about the fact that I think the fundamental ideas of that team setup are fine but we need to push higher up. A lot of people played poorly - to my mind particularly the central defensive triangle of Mascherano, Carragher and Skrtel. That led to the whole team going too deep.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI'm not sure if your knee-jerk comment was refering to my post or some of the others, the team I suggested is playing a similar system to our normal one but with a more attacking central midfield. We do need to change the mentality from that game in that when we are pushed too deep we need to be deliberately more progressive. I just think that changing the personnel and/or system too much would be counter productive.
Rafa will probably play 3-4-3 now."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
