madness, this kid can and will score goals - i'd rather have him on my bench than Ngog or Voronin. He'll do well out there and he'll stay coz he'll feel valued. What a waste

Nemeth and simon gone to AEK

Liverpool have today confirmed Hungarian duo Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon will spend the 2009-10 season out on loan.
Nemeth has joined Greek side AEK Athens until the end of the campaign, while Simon will spend the term with Spanish club Cordoba CF.

The strike pair originally arrived at Anfield from MTK Hungaria in the summer of the 2007 after impressing in the previous year's UEFA U17 Championships.

Nemeth was included in the first team's tours of Switzerland and Asia this summer, and the 20-year-old helped himself to two goals in the 5-0 victory over Singapore last month.

Maybe but seeing as he has just signed a contract extension I'd suggest he knew he'd be going out on loan for a year to develop.

Man U have been doing it for years.

If he does stay out there his value will be higher because of the contract length so either way we can't lose, he progresses, comes back and plays or doesn't and we get more money for him than if he didn't sign his new contract

Astonished, and quite frankly pissed off that Nemeth has been farmed out on loan this season. I honestly think he is the type of player you can throw on in the last 10 minutes and he can make something happen, make a name for himself.

As far as I can see, he won't play for us again now. 20 years old, not given a decent chance to show his worth in the first team. Sad that we are seemingly intent on wasting yet another potentially very gifted player.

but maybe he will develop quicker in the greek league than playing the odd 10minutes for us.......

and specially giving the lad 10mins when we need to get something outs far to much pressure on the lad, just ask tony le t

we need to be bringing this lad on like at stoke.....few goals up go out and enjoy yourself!!

Maybe if you'd seen him play in the reserves last year and this year your opinion may be different. He was great when he first came but the two injuries he had last year knocked him down the ladder progress wise. I think he needs a season on loan.

He's not good enough for our first team, but too good for the reserves. We have a massive squad reserve wise and need to farm some players out. LFC play one striker and he is behind Voronin, N'Gog and Kuyt. How many games do you think he'd get here?

A great season in Greece and he will come back and challenge for the first team. A year bulking up will also do him well.
              Forwards.......

Wouldn't mind seeing him farmed out to a PL team instead of getting experience abroad.

He's made four apperances out of five possible in the league, don't know if he starts on the field or on the bench though.

It seems he's doing quite well, he also got an assist on his debut (he came on from the bench) and was then sellected as an MVP of that week in the Greek league.

Best thing for him playing regularly in a competitive league

I just hope we don't sell him later,.... (is there any chance that AEK can buy him in that loan deal?)
