well football is a game of opinions but i thought until the last twenty that lucas is not boss the midfield at all in fact i thought the midfield was poor in general.

Lucas has not been a revelation in my eyes he has done ok, better than last season but hardly a revelation!!!

Lucas was a disaster in the first half absolutely losing his position repeatedly, the idea of not needing Mascherano against bus infront of goal teams is a total understandable one but Mascherano's new found passing boots would have offered much more than Lucas's headless chicken act today.

Peatcheo - i would think Masch is a better player than Lucas - but his head is elsewhere at present (maybe worried about the Argie's world cup qualification?) - Let's cut out this ****e about Lucas..........he's an above average player, who definelty can hold his own in the premiership.
