Who are we to argue against a professor?

I always assumed it was to give the players time to impliment the changes made at half time and maybe see if the opposition have changed their system at half time. It also gives 25-30mins for the changes (with the substitution) to have an impact on the game.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

well its approximately a 1/3rd into the second half, giving someone else 2/3rd to make it happen.

It shows a trust in a player......but i dont agree with it. he seems to give them 15/20 mins to put there wrongs to right as if to say its not my tactics its the player.

personally i like sticking on 2/3 subs and really shaking things up sometimes!

I'm sorry but that's far too sensible, realistic and intelligent to have any place in this thread. The thrust of this is that Rafa's a blithering idiot and hasn't got a clue about when is the best time to make substitutions. Do keep up!

Sorry, your entry was excluded as you never gave a final answer.
