Take it you don't watch Greek football. He has been quality.

Never good enough at what age? 20? Talk about giving people a chance .. unbelievable.

And he came straight from Argentina aswell. Mark Gonzalez had at least played Europe for a few seasons before he came to Liverpool and he was given a chance. He was woeful.

I have to admit I saw him in a few reserve games and he looked very lacklustre. Glad he's doing well now though. Just shows you, it's difficult to tell the ones who will make it and the ones who won't. Didn't Neil Mellor break all kinds of scoring records in the reserves?

He's no Neil Mellor though mate. Just watch him out, I'm pretty sure he won't stay for longer in the Greek league. He just needs to play like that all season and he's off to a bigger club next year.

Exactly, people saying he wasn't good enough are basing their opinion on what exactly?!

He got 4, yes FOUR, first team games under his belt. God help us if we make such rash assumptions on a player's ability in less than 360minutes of football.

To be honest players are lucky if they aren't judged on the internet in their first 360 seconds of football.

He's back. And he's as humourless as ever.

                    Been away?
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Nah, just been busy. I'm technically writing up my PhD, authoring a paper and initiating a new research project. I feel I may soon be able to plumb new depths of humourlessness.

                        Sounds quite a workload.

I've missed your sensibleness while the world has been imploding after two defeats.

Is that a question to me? If so - it's difficult to tell at the minute. Apparently we 'have to talk'. So probably badly.

Honestly I was never impressed with him from what I seen when he was here. He always just seemed to pick the wrong option everytime the ball came to him.

As for greek football, he can shine all he likes but i stand my comment of him not being good enough for LFC

He was actually shining in a Champions league qualifying match, not just in the Greek league. Time will tell.
