When can we realistically expect him in the team lads ?

Aquilani on course for Liverpool return
                        12.09.09 | Ian Ferris
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is now claiming that Alberto Aquilani could return to training in 'two or three weeks'.It was revealed when the summer signing joined the Reds that he was possibly eight weeks away from fitness following an ankle operation.

Benitez is now hopeful that the Italy international, a £20million replacement for Xabi Alonso, will soon join his new team-mates in training.

Benitez said: "Aquilani has improved, he has progressed in the way that we expected and now maybe in two or three weeks we will see him training.

"Then we will see how he progresses, but the last scan he had was very good."

I think he'll play against Chelsea away.

                          May get a sub appearance.

I've never heard of that sauce. Where can you buy it? Just kidding...

It's actually true. Rafa said it in the press conference which is on official.

Journalist: What's the latest on Alberto Aquiliani and when is he likely to return to training?

He has improved and is much better. We think that in two or three weeks he can maybe train and we will see how he progresses. The last scan was really good so we will see.

You consider scoring 17 out of 10 to be a decent game?? you are a hard task master.

Liverpool are targeting their trip to Sunderland on 17 October as the game in which injured £20m midfielder Alberto Aquilani will make his debut for the club.
