there are only a handfull of players worthy to have the honour of wearing the number 7 shirt for us........gerard, kyut and benni. my personal choice would be kyut.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Totally disagree. One day it will be worn by a player who is more than able to do it justice.

          This is becoming a fable!

The quest for the player worthy to wear 7

Once upon a time there was a club situated in L4 that was famous through out the lands. Yet there was one thing that bothered the inhabitants. The curse of the number 7!

Liverpool saw the problem and sent scouts far and wide in search of a player strong enough to carry the burden and expectation and then excel and revel in the adulation sure to follow. No expense was spared in the quest (it is a fairy tale) and such greats like Vladimir Smicer (like I said, it's a ****ing fairy tale) tried and failed, only for him to achieve success only when released of the burden of 7, scoring in a European Cup Final in his final outing, the latest recruit to the number 7 having to hobble off injured.

Many years passed without success, until 1000 years later, with the club now owned by a Badger, success came at last. With new cloning laws and the ability to bring back the dead the quest was finally at an end. Step forward, Kenny Dalglish, the second coming!
          Forwards.......

            The Doss deserves it.

It's just a number. It's not the number on the shirt that matters, it's the player who wears it.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

We didn't have replica shirts in those days. We had rattles.

                                Madness is that!
Exactly, he used the same stalling tactics that the welsh midget adopted. Gave the club little choice but to look at the other options.

When he did eventually sign for Madrid he did so for less wages than Barca had offered, which to me reads that he really wanted his move to Madrid, ****ing us even moreso in the bargain. Had he honestly come out and asked for a move to Madrid then I'm sure we could've struck a deal around the £10m mark, only £2m less than Barca offered.

Gutted when he left as I gave my daughter his name as a second middle name
