Couldnt help but think on Saturday, that despite signing Bellamy AND Kuyt, we still need a proper striker.
Fowler, much as we love him, is no use to us. He's done, he will barely manage 10 games this season and we're basically left with Kuyt, who looks good, Crouch who either scores (great) or does nothing. And then Bellamy, who isnt really a proper 'striker' anyway.
I find it incredible to think that after having signed SO many strikers over the past few years and spent what must be over £50m or £60m on them, we're STILL looking for someone who can put the ball into the net.
With the 4 we have, when one's injured, we're left with 2 options and a journeyman. It tells a story when ALL FOUR of Arsenal's front men would get into our 1st team. I know the denials will come, but let's be honest, they would.
Will we ever solve this problem?
