The only significant worry for me going forward is the form and body language on the pitch of Torres.
This is worrying. Although I’m still putting it down to fatigue, the fact that Pepe seemed so despondent in his interview has me slightly concerned.

We’ll need Nando back to his best of we’re to get anything at Stamford Bridge.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yes he was along side Luca. Didn't really tell us much as Burnley offered little in the middle so we ended up with Stevie being more or less in the attacking third all the time. I guess it shows that against lesser teams who want to attack then he is a valid option there - I think a team who 'parked the bus' would offer a different challenge.

        The team was:
        Reina
        Johnson Carragher Skrtel Insua
        Lucas
        Gerrard
        Kuyt Benayoun Riera
        Torres

Bollocks it does. It started early August. We;ve already lost two games. Enough of this optimist ****e.
Our last game sunshine was a 3-2 win at Bolton. Didn't Burnley also beat United a few weeks back too?

We've scored more goals than anyone else in the League so far (apart from Arsenal - who've scored the same amount as us).

We're four games into the season. Yes we've lost a couple, but are you going to go through the next 34 games slashing your wrists? **** off. Be positive.

            5 games into the season

and your original point is bollocks. The season does not start now. Season started in August and we've already lost 40% of the games we've played.

If you want Liverpool to be the champions of the league that started on the 12th September then that's very well and good.

I actually think both you and the other poster are wrong.

There is nothing to be positive or negative about just yet. We will learn nothing about how Liverpool will do until Aquilani is fit and playing. The only thing we have had to do at the start of the season is stay in touch with the leaders. A 6 point gap is a bit of a chasm at the moment, but the longer the season goes on if the gap stays at 6 it becomes nominal and meaningless. It only then becomes a problem again towards the end of a season. But we are some months of being concerned about such a gap.

Pretty soon we will have some very good players back in the squad set up and then we can set about getting involved in the title race and beating those teams put before us.
                  Forwards.......

I think you'd better dive for cover mate. You should know by now that the forum Thought Police vigorously enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards dissenters from their view that he's no good, even when he plays well.

That would be the same Burnley - BURNLEY - that deservedly whupped the Mancs a couple of games ago. Maybe you could keep your pessimistic ****e to yourself please

And it would be the same Burnley - BURNLEY - that played the mancs at Turf Moor - that's TURF MOOR.

And that would be the same team - TEAM - that we would have drawn with last season. And before anyone comes on and goes on about parked buses and pretty passing triangles we also drew with West Ham and Man City last year at Anfield who like Burnley only park buses having entered the gates into Anfield.

So you think playing Burnley at Anfield and playing them at Turf Moor is pretty much the same prospect?

I dont stomp feet on a sunday

It's completely different to beat them at home and to beat them away though.

The mancs will also rip them a new one, when they play at OT.
