    Lol, started something here

He's a fair sized full back, I remember seeing him against Fulham last year and thinking that he was around 6'. Fact is that he's big enough for a full back (the original complaint about him), Rob Jones could've only been around 5'7" and it never really affected him. Full backs are among the smallest players on the field, not to mention hardest working.

So, to summarize, if anything, he's too big to be a full back

I thought he was excellent today. Had to deal with a lot of pace and good wingers with little protection and showed some great skill in the attacking half.

He did well last season, had a sticky patch during times this season, but in the last few games against Wolves & Villa today, he's been superb

****ing hell - you obviously werent watching the same game as most of us.

Going forward he is very good and in tight situations he can pull something out of the bag but defensively he's all over the place. The opposition know about his weaknesses and deliver a lot of long balls across to his side where he loses just about every single header.

Seriously every time the ball goes anywhere near this fella near our penalty area I wince.

I think by the start of next season, most of us will regard him as better full back than Glen Johnson.

Some of the skills he was pulling off today was impressive. Outstanding performance again

I think you may not have been the same match as most of us. He was outstanding - head and shoulders above any of our outfield players. But it is your opinion

i think this is probably why rafa is persisting with him because potentially he could be our left back for the next 10 years.

He is only 19 but he is lacking defensively and I am hopeful that he will sort the defending out and become a genuine world class left back.

However, nothing was as bad as the little dragback that milner did on johnson in the first half. That was just embarrassing that he got done by that.

We could see his little trick from a country mile away. Obviously johnson didnt.

Nah he was awful - he would have been better of staying at home and chatting on Omegle to random people off EST1892

If you thought he was MOM that says a lot about the rest of our team.

Look I hope this lad can sort the defending out and turn into a real gem. If anybody can sort him out its rafa and unfortunately he's pencilled in for the world cup with argentina and will miss out on some needed one to one with rafa.

I remain hopeful but until his defending is better he remains a liability in defence.

                                Actually he's virtually 21.

You make a good point in your first sentence. But I think you'll find that he has been MOTM for a lot of people in the last 2 games, especially today
