Please people, tell me what this Argie whiz kid offers to the team?
What exactly is he good at?

He is getting better. He is not a finished article yet.

He combines well with whoever plays in from of him down the left hand side, he regularly gets to the opposition byeline and delivers a reasonable ball, he can defend, he is willing, he never goes missing and considering the number of senior appearances he has made he plays at a very good level. What is clear is that a season or two down the road he will be an outstanding left back but the only way for him to get there is to play regularly. And he is better than Dossena.

Some excellent link play with Riera, but his final ball was lacking today. If his crossing improves he'll be a very good addition.
        Forwards.......

I'm just not seeing any real promise with the lad.
He isn't particularly quick, he isn't very physical, he isn't great in the air, he doesn't bomb up and down like you'd expect from a full back.
I think this is his 3rd or 4th season as a first team player as well so he's hardly a newbie.

Are you mad? He did well to get in the team last year and the other two seasons he played a couple of games when the season was dead. He is very much an up and coming member in the squad.

He looks Ok, has promise. Still think he's third choice though so can't complain he isn't a world beater yet.

I think he's ahead of Dossena. Aurelio could argue he is first choice mind if he stays fit.

Werent you singing his praises a while ago Marky?

He'll be a fantastic player for us for years to come but I thought he had one of his poorer games for us tonight without actually being poor, if that makes sense?

Aurelio, when fit, will be our first choice LB this season IMO.

He had a poor game tonight, but he is good at winning the ball, links very well with Riera, is a good passer and has a decent cross on him. I think he offers much more composure to the team than Lucas. Always trying to get involved too.

He's just playing too much football at the minute, would be good for him to have Fabio back, takes the pressure off him a bit.
