Well we've scored 16 goals in 6 games so far this season (only beaten by Arsenal who've scored 17). There's also been 25 goals in our matches which is equal highest.

Didnt we score over a hundred goals in all comps the season before last too?

I'm just pointing out that a set piece is something worked on the training ground and I find it hard to believe that Harry has his players working on rebounds in training.

No, he probably doesnt. By the same token, 'open play' surely requires the play to be naturally 'open' for a little longer than one second.

It's not open play, as the defense is set up to face a free kick...a corner floated in, headed out and then volleyed into the net from 20 yards is still a goal from a corner, when all is said and done.

The 5 live commentator (not Mark "notso" Bright) said the reason Liverpool look more frail at the back is because they have realised that draws are not so useful after last year, therefore they're pushing forwards more leaving the defence more exposed!

At least one of them is wrong!

I'll listen to what they say but for the most part they just trot out hackneyed cliches trying to sound more insightful than the next worn out has been on the couch! They can only ever see edited highlights, think of champs league night where they all offer brilliant observation on up to 8 matches within minutes of the final whistle

95% of them are of the highest order

            Except Tommo he's f'in ace

And that is the first time I've used ace in 25 years!!
This is the other problem. Everybody wants to reduce everything down to ONE cause. Fact is with complex stuff in the real world, nothing, is ever down to one thing. But do you think there is a pundit out there that can articulate anything quite so ambiguous?

Hehe, you'll argue about absolutely anything won't you?

You even argue about precisely how argumentative you are.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                          Mine angry and defrauded young?

I use ace all the time. It's so old it's even come back in- heard some kids saying it the other day.
                                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
