    Spiffing.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

To be pedantic if the play is open for just one second it is open therefore must have been open play by your own reasoning?

Chris Waddle is a ****ing legend and a great guy to boot.

Talking crap on this occasion mind. Rafa used to play a cautious side but has changed of late. I doubt Waddle watches enough games to have a proper opinion.

                You're right, it's pedantic.

Until the wall has broken up and the defence has re-set itself, it's not open play.

As I said in my previous post you are saying the play was open for one second ergo it must be open as it has bee open for one second, zero seconds and it wouldn't be open - one second and play has been open for one second. I can put it many different ways but in this instance, unless your above quoted comments are wrong, you are wrong but if your quotes above are wrong you are contradicting yourself. Either way at some point in this thread you are wrong. We can all be argumentative.

Not being funny, but if it's stalking to quote a poster twice to pick holes in their post whilst completely missing the point, you've stalked most of the forum to ****ing death

I happen to agree that it didn't constitute open play

As for the wider topic, I don't think we're any more cautious than Chelsea, say, though IMO we don't have quite the same fear factor other top teams do - possibly because we're slightly lacking when it comes to quality ball carriers. One reason Yossi can be so important for us.

I'm consistent though, i do it with everyone - so it's not really stalking.

Stalking's when you single someone out. So i'm told

Well, that's kind of my whole point - it's not really stalking. (Especially when it's just two posts, on one thread.)

Fredo's in my wardrobe now and i was afraid he'd get out.

                                So i've padlocked it shut
