Very immature and foolish too i think. Easy to tell when he spits the dummy every 3rd match he plays in, the most frustrating occasion being the game against the manc's last year where he got himself sent off for nothing.

Based on seven games? Mascherano was poor until after Christmas last year, and I don't think it's any coincidence that as soon as he started finding form we played some of our best football.Originally posted by Molby View PostIf Mascherano wants to go - then let him. He's not the same player as before.
I think it's vital Aquilani settles in straight away, but i also think it's important we don't (i say we, as liverpool fans) put too much pressure on him at the start, he will need time to settle in. If he does get game time against Sunderland - then whisky nose will be sending out Fletcher and that other wee ginger cunt Scholes to test his ankle in the filth game.
I just think he needs a few 15 or 20 minute appearances over the next couple of weeks. FFS, just imagined he suffered a major recurrance of this injury?? It would just be our luck.......
Mascherano will be a huge loss when he goes and will be very hard to replace. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hopefully you're right RedReet and he does turn it around - i love the little man when he plays, but a blind man on a galloping horse can see he isn't the player he was last season, he wants to go - so let him. of course he will be a huge loss when he goes - it's now only a matter of when he goes.Originally posted by RedReet View PostBased on seven games? Hope we get somebody of the same quality to replace him - it won't be easy, maybe swap with Toure?

First Alonso and now Mascherano ffs.
Hopefully Aquilani will slot in straight away, but the boy is going to be under some pressure to perform from the word go.Originally posted by cream View Post**** him, get rid of the cunt.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostI wouldn't feel half as sad if Mascher left as I did when Xabi went.. If he wants to be greedy then fine.. Goodluck but FFS sort it out at the end of the seasonOriginally posted by liverpooltj View PostYou know what if he feels this way he can just **** off! He was nothing before we signed him. LFC are bigger than he ever will be and we will replace him. Rafa has a gift of picking up players who can play very well in the middle of the park. I am sick to death of hearing it every week. Let him go to Barca and see how long he lasts.Am I reading the wrong article or have I missed something? After Barca's interest Rafa basically says Mascherano is priceless. The club spend the summer rewarding their top players with new contracts and promise the priceless Mascherano one. The club who conveniently enough are skint, now say Mascherano doesn't deserve one, even though the whole team have underperformed. Mascherano as far as I know has said nothing, but a ''club insider'' (Originally posted by lickedlollipop View Posthe **** off right now if he has a problem with LFC.
) has said his head has been turned and he's now all of the above???
Someone please fill me in in what I've missed...If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Aint watched Neighbours in a long, long time, but if that's the same moon faced Libby from when I last seen it, then you're clearly missing a lot more than me.Originally posted by Bender View Postwell basically Harold left ramsey street and libby is well fit

Mascher was fantastic against the chavs (obvious mistake aside) and this article may well be full of ****.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Mascherano signed a four year contract last year. He still has 3 years left (well slightly less now) so it doesnt make sense to offer him a new contract now. We should wait until he has 2 years left before we re-negotiate his deal IMO, or that at least seems to be the standard practice.
If he bucks his ideas up and plays as well this season as he did last then we should offer him improved terms at the end of the season. If he's playing as poorly as he has and we're offered 30 million for him i'd be seriously tempted to sell at the end of the season though, especially if he wants to go.'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

bad drills here guys, Mascher is in Argentina trying to get his under performing team to SA, and in his absence the tabloids get bored so we slaughter him in his own back yard.
Very sad, some of the comments here are from the playground. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.
