It was a disjointed performance today but it would be foolish to write us off in October. The team today was good enough to have won it, then the players let us down, not Rafa. He isn't kicking a football as far as I am concerned.

Very predictable. Auerlio and Skyrtel look ****ing terrible. Spearing was thrown in at the deep end and he didn't have a good game, but we've all watched lucas over the past few seasons play just as bad! If spearing had played alongside Masher and Gerrard and still looked ****, then fair enough but very harsh to judge whilst playing alongside mr no charisma Lucas.

Thats what this team lacks, charisma. rafa's preference is robotic order followers and this has worked in the past but its where we fall down time and again. Babel was very highly rated when we signed him, but while I think he should shoulder a lot of the blame, the biggest proportion must go to Rafa. His man management skills are poor. Its clear Babel is an arm round the shoulder player, give him confidence. Redknapp would get more from him as would Wenger.

I hate the one up front system.I still think Keane & Torres could have worked had the latter not spent most of the season injuried. Rafa killed Keane for me. More poor management.

We're in trouble but getting rid of rafa isn't the answer. We've just got to keep going and see how far it gets us.

And who will you put in his place? Steve Bruce?

Where did I suggest we should replace him?

Give him the season to sort it out, and we'll see where we are at the end of it.

              Yes it is!

Arsenal won the league at a canter when Houllier came second. Man Utd were the only other team in the race that year, we finished well, but only after a chasm of a gap had been created.

We are in big trouble. Spearing and Lucas at the heart of the midfield Kuyt, Babel, Voronin, Ngog the goal scorers.

But he signed those players and picked them for todays game.

We really lack quality players upfront. A decent back-up for Torres, an attacking player for the left and Aquilani fit along with Gerrard and Torres is where we should be. The clubs failure to buy someone like Silva coupled with buying a player who was going to be injured for half the season has cost us the league again this year. Who's fault is that? you decide.

And then if he doesn't win it, what would you do? Rant to death and complain ad nauseam again?

We're not in big trouble with regards finishing top 4. We have two of the best players in the world when it comes to match winners in Torres and Gerrard, with the second most expensive signing in our history still to come in.

Kuyt really can't play as a striker, he's been great playing in his normal position, but when he goes up front he really doesn't look up to it.

I felt a bit sorry for Lucas and Spearing today as both are inexperienced and need an experienced player playing alongside them and helping them through
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Last season we were something like 10 points behind with 11 games left.

We had an amazing finish, much better than Houllier's season and still finished 4 points short.
