    She's singing.

A similar performance next week we'll have lost 5 out of 10, half our games.

    What then?

So it's a glitch? Thank goodness! All's fine then...

Johnson is turning into Benayoun...dallying too much on the ball and in the end lose it, or no end product.

It doesn't mean anything because nothing is won or lost in October. If we win 10 on the trot there's a high chance we could top the table. And we've proved in each and every season under Rafa to date that we can go on runs like this. So, it is far from a foregone conclusion.

If we win our next 10 in a row, I'll eat my hat

Problem is redders is that the fans are like the club. So used to defeat and being out the title race by November that it's almost expected. Long gone are the days where the players and fans would expect us to hit top form and march on towards the title.

There was genuine belief last season and great expectations at the start of this one, until fans read the papers and saw that we were hugely reliant on Xabi Alonso. More media bull **** that has fuelled the fires and dealt hammer blows to the confidence of fans.

I genuinely believe that if Aquilanis comes in and does the business, and we also beat the Mancs next week, we can have a really good season. But I would like to know what the players really think.

The biggest stick to beat Rafa with is that he signed an injured player to replace last seasons player of the season - a player who has yet to play for us.

It ranks alongside the decision to sign Diouf instead of Anelka

I used to think get rid, and he certainly has big flaws for me but a new manager will need yet more players and it'll take longer still.

I don't think we're as bad overall as we looked today but I also think we over achieved last season. When we're poor we look shocking, yet when the others play poorly they can still string 3 forward passes together.

I long for Crouch back. An honest player that score goals and works hard. Shame he wanted out.

                        That's some "if" there.

Very poor today. We are a two man team, I know we have a couple of other decent players but without Gerrard and Torres we just don't have enough in attack and I put that down to Rafa. We've seen decent players leave the club without much of a fight, not to be replaced with like for like (Crouch, Keane, Bellamy, even Pongolle was better than we have now).

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I don't think any team will win ten on the trot this year. The league is too competitive. We are capable of going on a long unbeaten run though. And the defeats handed out to the top teams so far this season would suggest that there will be no run away winners.

Anything that is in the future should be bracketed as ifs ...

Agree with all of that, apart from the works hard part. He did work hard, then stopped putting in 100% the last season.
Shame he wanted out though. Great plan B.
