Passion and effort were the difference between the teams today.

Those who wanted Spearing to play instead of Lucas: He was even worse.

Taking too long for the subs to come on. Again.

      Reina was really good today.

**** it, fed up with it all.

It hasnt worked under benitez and i cant see it ever working. The rafa thing hasnt worked and for me its time to bring his reign to an end.

This season reminds me of houlliers last season. Enough said.
Can't do that I'm afraid. The pay off would be probably over £20 million, throw in his back room staff as well, and any new manager can forget about any money for players, with these ****houses for owners.

The one positive from today was that we only lost 1-0.

that was a disgraceful team selection and performance. we dont have a hope of winning the league, not a hope when the like of skrtl & carra can barely pass a ball and rush into every challenge

spearing making his prem debut? wtf
            how bad was johnson?
            babel?

lost 4 out of 9 , how the hell did this happen?

i dont know, really pissed off tbh

That's hardly surprising Red Chilli. With Kuyt leading the line, he couldn't score in a brothel.

Seriously do people even bother thinking most of the time or is it easier to live on reaction?
not really knee jerk as ive been saying it for a while. I dont think benitez is the right manager for us and this league.

Some shocking buys compounded by his sheer stubborness. He was lucky in istanbul and has been living off that ever since.

Its time to bring in someone else. like another poster said if we lose against lyon we are basically ****ed.

Difference being, Houllier had two poor seasons in a row.

I keep saying it, but it stays the same. If we are within six points come January 1st we are still in it. Much depends on how quickly Aquilani settles.

It's amazing that we have been this rubbish yet are still around that points gap. As already said, beat the Mancs and things look positive again. But it's how much a difference Aquilani makes that will settle our season.

I think by now, we all know he needs to be a world beater.

Kuyt leading the line, N'Gog and Voronin coming on, I would have been surprised if they didn't manage it.

I can't believe people are calling for Rafa out, last season we were the closest we've been to the title since we won it. Yes this season we have been very poor and we have to sort alot of things out but sacking the manager isn't the answer
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That was dire. When Veronin comes on as a sub how come he never manages to actually get into the area? He just seems to hang around the 18 yard line. Think I'll have to go out and get pissed and forget this match ever happened.

What happened with Houllier after he came second in the league? It all fell apart.

I blame the septics more than rafa. The players too.
                                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
