    LFC vs United build up

    No build up thread so far?

    Right, no idea with what the result will be on Sunday. Current form would expect a United win... but, for us to lose five on the bounce? Can't see it. Obviously a lot will depend on our injuries (I don't think anyone is or isn't ruled out at the moment).

    They're certainly beatable, and if Rooney is out then all the better for us. We need the likes of Reina, Carragher, Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres (if fit) to be on top of their game for this one.

    Team? Hopefully both Gerrard and Torres will be fit enough to start - if not then I really worry about where our goals will come from.

    Obviously we could be without Johnson, Gerrard and Torres. If that's the case then **** knows what the team will be.

    The perfect game to get us out of the ****. Not only will we be up for it, we also get to claw back the gap on the league leaders. On the other hand, lose or draw and we are in no mans land.

      I think Aurellio will start ahead of Insua, Johnson and Torres to play with Gerrard either sub or missing altogether

          aquiliani on the bench? would he be good for 10-15mins to much of a risk probably, but he has been nursed back slowly ?

            Very true. If we win this then we'll only be four points behind them.

            Hmm. Perhaps Aurelio left midfield if Gerrard doesn't make it, and then Benayoun behind Torres? I reckon Torres will start.

            Not sure if he'll make the bench mate, perhaps. But he's only had 15 minutes of reserve football in seven months. No point in rushing him back and then have him break down again.

                swap Issua for Aurelio and we will win this game 2-1, we will batter them, Mascher will rule midfield and Lucas will tear em up !!!!!

                      we might have to be happy with a draw to stop the rot. really wasn't expecting to be feeling like this a few short months ago. football's a ****in headwrecker.

                        Best thing about this is form goes out the window, a good thing since ours is ****.

                        As long as the lads retain the belief and the memories that we stuffed these cunts twice last season we'll win.

                        Need to score first though,the come from behind,never say die attitude appears lacking this season.
